My 20 year career on the road working as a rep led me to the world of upholstery, spending my days in workshops around the North of England selling beautiful fabrics to upholsterers I totally fell in love with the art of this industry and the creative in me realized I was on the wrong side of the work bench.

Fast forward after training with some of the best mentors in Manchester, Upholstery by Betty was born! From my workshop in Stockport, Cheshire using a blend of modern and traditional techniques I re-upholster pre-loved items of furniture back to there former glory, creating bespoke statement pieces. I also design and create bespoke pieces from new frames like chairs, footstools, ottomans, headboards and more along with a range of fixed seating designs and soft furnishings.

Here at UBB we pride ourselves on our attention to detail and natural eye for design and understanding of fabrics prints, colours and textures working closely with our clients to create that one off standout piece of furniture.
